Here are four of our favourite unique meeting venues around Copenhagen for groups of up to 100 guests — all with their own personality and none of them a traditional hotel.
1. Øens Have — Meetings in the Middle of an Urban Farm
Refshalevej 159B, Refshaleøen
It is hard to imagine a more Copenhagen setting than this: a green urban farm hidden away on the industrial island of Refshaleøen.
At Øens Have, meetings and events take place inside handcrafted wooden yurts surrounded by vegetables, flowers, herbs and buzzing bees. It feels worlds away from a conference centre, even though you are still very much in Copenhagen.
The smaller yurt is particularly suited to intimate meetings and workshops for up to 55 people, while the larger yurt can accommodate up to 100 seated guests. The venue also offers WiFi, a large screen and meeting packages with seasonal food from the farm and local producers.
What makes Øens Have special is that the food and surroundings are part of the experience. A meeting can easily become a farm-to-table lunch, a garden tour or a hands-on workshop.
Insider tip: Don’t keep everyone inside all day. Build in a short garden tour or nature-inspired activity between sessions. It is an easy way to reset the room — without leaving the venue.
2. Haldbjerg Naturcampus — Meetings Around the Fire
Approx. 30 minutes from Copenhagen
If your team needs a genuine change of scenery, head north.
Located next to Gribskov and Solbjerg Engsø, Haldbjerg Naturcampus is designed specifically around meetings, team development and experiences in nature.
The venue offers several very different meeting settings: two bonfire houses with room for 50 seated guests each, a tipi for 30, a star tent for 36, and seven smaller shelters that can be used as breakout spaces.
There is also fibre internet and screens in the bonfire houses, so you do not have to choose between nature and the practicalities of a professional meeting.
And when the meeting is over, the surroundings become part of the programme. Groups can stay overnight in shelters, tents, tipis or luxury tents.
This is a particularly good fit for leadership meetings, strategy days and team development, where the goal is to get people thinking differently.
Insider tip: Make the bonfire part of the programme rather than simply an afterthought. A conversation around the fire can be the perfect closing session after a day of presentations and workshops.
3. Herthadalen — Nordic Calm in the Forest

Some venues impress you the moment you walk through the door. Herthadalen works a little differently.
Located in the forest near Lejre and surrounded by the landscape of the National Park, the venue offers a collection of smaller spaces where nature is always close by.
For smaller groups, Birkestuen accommodates 20–60 people, while the Lounge accommodates up to 70. There is also an Orangery for 20–40 people, where you are essentially sitting right in nature. A seasonal forest tent can accommodate up to 70 people.
The atmosphere is understated and Nordic, with natural surroundings doing most of the work.
Herthadalen is particularly well suited to strategy sessions, workshops, leadership meetings and team days where concentration matters just as much as comfort.
The venue itself suggests a different rhythm: focus indoors, fresh air between sessions, and perhaps a walking meeting instead of another coffee break.
Insider tip: Schedule one session as a walking meeting. The forest is right there — and sometimes the best ideas appear when people stop staring at a screen.
4. The Greenery — Industrial Meets Green

If your idea of a great meeting involves a little more urban edge, The Greenery in Nordhavn is worth a look.
Built around two repurposed containers, this unusual venue combines a raw industrial feel with greenery, an open-air kitchen and views across the surrounding harbour area.
The Greenery accommodates approximately 80 seated guests and 100 standing, making it particularly interesting for smaller corporate events, informal conferences, dinners and networking events.
Full AV setup is available for conferences, and the space can also be combined with outdoor activities such as minigolf.
It is the kind of place where you can move naturally from a meeting into lunch, drinks or an evening event without changing location.
And unlike a traditional conference venue, the setting already has a story.
Insider tip: Make use of the connection between indoors and outdoors. The large sliding windows can open the space towards the courtyard, which makes it particularly good for summer meetings and informal corporate gatherings.
